Born in Cagliari, Italy, he moved to London in 1997 where he still lives to this day.
Since a young age he discovered Electronic Music by listening to artists like Aphex Twin, Speedy J, Richie Hawtin, Air Liquide.
Finishing his studies he relocates to London where he starts to follow the techno party scene and see his first live acts.

Recycling an old PC from his boss's office he starts to put together his own tunes. During the next few years, on and off college he puts together a small studio.

Early sounds have an acid feel (...with all that acid techno played in squat parties!!!) then he starts to develop his own style, influenced by 8o's disco and hip hop grooves he used to play back in Sardinia.

GLNR's sound is funky techno, noisy riding loops with old skool samples, all compressed into a hard cutting edge format.
